New Hope Church is a non-denominational Christian church that began as a Bible study, and evolved into a

small congregation in December, 2006. The church first met at the Village Green Plaza, then in December 2010,

exactly 4 years to the day New Hope began we had our first service in our current building at

1098 W. 500 N. Decatur, Indiana.

We strive to provide you with the environment and opportunity to meet God,

get to know Him and learn about living a Christ centered life. While making some new friends along the way,

you will find New Hope to be warm and friendly with a come-as-you-are atmosphere.

We invite you to come, enjoy some coffee and fellowship in our cafĂ© before service, meet some of our church family,

and try our worship service.  We know God will meet you there.

Through Christ, we want to bring you New Hope

Pastor Linda

Greetings -

My name is Jim Bringman; husband to wife, Linda for 28 years and father of our four children, Justin, Brittany, Jennifer, and Austin; ages 23-30.

Beginning January, 2017, Linda and I entered into our 16th year of pastoral ministry. This calling has been both challenging and rewarding for us, but through His Word, God has enabled us to connect people to Christ, raise a family, and establish relationships that will last a lifetime.

I am licensed and ordained by the Christian Church; specifically the Disciple Heritage Fellowship, located in Shelbyville, Illinois. I am a graduate of Baptist Bible College & Seminary located in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, where I received an M.Min degree and now have pastoral standing in the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches.

My last calling was serving as senior pastor at Unity Bible Church in Lewiston, Maine. Previously, for ten years, I served as senior pastor at the Christian Church in Sigourney, Iowa.
